Nowadays the Balearic Slinging Federation is made up of more than 100 members which constitute 10 different federated clubs: UEM Menorca, Club Ciclista Defensora Sollerense, Club Honderos Lloseta, Club Foners Sa Pobla, Club Foners de Mallorca, Club Foners Ciutat de Palma, Club Foners Son Servera, Espanya H\u00f2quei Club, Club Foners de Llucmajor and Club Joventut Atl\u00e8tica Sant Antoni.
\nFour types of competition are carried out every season and each one has its own rules.\n<\/p>\n

Once the targets have been set up and the rest of the requirements for the conduct of the competition are met, the Referee-Judge will give permission to start the warm-up rounds for which each slinger in turns will be allowed to do two throws per round. It will be the Referee-Judge who will declare it finished in order to start the competition.<\/p>\n
The competition will consist of three rounds of 5 throws each. Two of which will be hurled from the short distance and one from the long distance. A total of 15 stones will be thrown.<\/p>\n
– Short distance:<\/p>\n
– Long distance:<\/p>\n
The hurling order will be decided by a draw.<\/p>\n
The scoring at the short distance is one point if the stone hits the wooden square and two points if it impacts on the metal target. The scoring at the long distance is double that of the short distance one, that is, two points the wood and four points the metal.<\/p>\n
In case of a draw, the one who has scored more targets will win. If the draw persists, the total number of impacts will be taken into consideration (wood and targets). In case the draw persists the number of null throws will be considered. If the draw persists, a tiebreaker round of three throws at the short distance will be done. If the draw continuous tiebreakers round of one throw from the short distance will be done. If the draw still persists, the Referee-Judge will determine the procedure to be followed.<\/p>\n
Tiebreakers will only be carried out to decide the first three positions. The null throws will be those in which:<\/p>\n
